If you are single on Valentine’s Day, you might prefer to skip all that commercialization. While the theme is about love, it doesn’t have to be romantic. Why not make this an opportunity to spend time with friends? Galentine’s Day was a term imagined by a Parks and Recreation episode that celebrates women’s friendship. Although you can observe it on any day, it is typically celebrated on February 13th every year.
