Part 1: Diablo Escapes Event Planning Checklist
1. Choose Your Event Date and Time
- Select a date and time that fits your schedule.
- Check if Diablo Escapes offers flexibility with time slots for large groups.
2. Pick Your Escape Room Game(s) and Determine Group Size
- Discuss which games are a good match for your players’ interests and ages, keeping in mind each of the difficulties of the escape rooms. We offer a diverse range of themes, check out our games.
- Finalize the total number of guests so you can reserve the right amount of space.
3. Call Us or Fill Out the Party Inquiry Form!
- Fill out the Party Inquiry Form and a member of Diablo Escapes’ Staff will be in touch to finalize your date/time slot and other finer details.

- Sign contract and pay deposit.
4. Manage Guest Invitations and Communication
- Send out invites to your group, making sure to include the time, date, and location with directions or a phone number if they get lost.
- Let guests know to sign your specific party waiver ahead of time online or to arrive early to sign waivers. Diablo Escapes is happy to text your waiver if that’s easier to share with friends, just let us know!
- Consider group sizes, as games may require you to split into smaller teams for an optimal experience.
Part 2: Party Essentials Checklist
1. Decorations and Theme
- For a private party at Diablo Escapes, you can decorate the party area.
- Decide on a theme or color scheme to make your party more personalized. You can choose a theme and escape room game matching your birthday star’s interests (e.g., space adventure or medieval theme).
- Purchase any decorations (balloons, banners, table settings) to add to the fun atmosphere.
2. Food and Drinks
- Select the type of food (catered, homemade, potluck).
- Make a shopping list for food and beverages. Popular options include pizza, finger foods, and drinks like soda or juice.
- Consider dietary restrictions or preferences for guests.
3. Party Supplies
- Bring the essentials like plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, and tablecloths.
- Include necessary items such as serving utensils and a lighter for candles. (If you forget, just ask- the staff at Diablo Escapes can probably help)
4. Party Favors and Thank-You Notes
- Prepare small favors or thank-you notes if you plan to distribute them.
